Yes, our stacker and sliding doors can be supplied with double or triple glazing. We can also manufacture units with single glazing if desired. Whichever glazing option you choose, your doors will be manufactured with high-quality frames, seals and locking systems.

Are double glazed sliding doors worth it?

If you’d like to be able to enjoy your garden and living area as one large space throughout the year, we can unreservedly recommend our double glazed uPVC sliding doors. They won’t take up any space in the interior of your home and can be opened wide when the weather is fine.

What are the different types of double glazing?

All our double glazed sliding doors are manufactured with high-quality, energy-efficient glass. However, there are several types of double glazing being manufactured today, with various types of glass:

Float glass — The most basic type of double glazing you’ll find for sale is made with float glass (also referred to as annealed glass). It’s stronger than single glazed panels but not as tough as tempered or laminated double glazing.
Tempered glass — Tempered or toughened glass is 3 to 4 times stronger than float glass.
Laminated glass — Laminated double glazing is even tougher than tempered double glazing, with multiple bonded layers.
